What to Expect
We would love to have you join us this Sunday morning! We are a non-denominational church plant, rooted in the Word of God, growing to be more like Jesus, and making an impact on one another, our community, and the nations.
When and where?
We are currently meeting at New Braunfels Christian Academy at 220 FM 1863 in New Braunfels, TX. Service begins at 10:00am and usually lasts about an hour and twenty minutes.
What are the people like?
We are a diverse group of people, from different backgrounds, united by the cross of Christ. Regardless of your demographic, upbringing, Biblical knowledge, or spiritual maturity, The Garden is the place for you! We want to get to know you, hear your story, and have you join us in being transformed by HIS story!
What do I wear?
Our gatherings are casual, so wear whatever you are comfortable wearing! You’ll see jeans & t-shirts, shorts & flip flops, and button-ups & slacks. There is no common dress at The Garden, so be yourself and be comfortable!
Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely! We currently have three classrooms for the kiddos. Seedlings is our class for birth through Preschool. Sprouts is for Kinder through 2nd. And Garden Kids is for 3rd through 5th. These are not “childcare” rooms, but rather discipleship classes in which the kids will be taught a Bible lesson each week and how it fits into the big picture of God redeeming his people through Jesus! If you’d rather keep your kids in service with you, that is completely fine as well! Don’t worry about them moving around or making noise. We aren’t easily distracted! We also have a small Nursing Moms area in the back of our main service gathering place with some padded floor tiles and baby toys.
What about the youth?
Middle schoolers and high schoolers will stay in the main service on Sunday mornings. We do, however, have a youth group that meets on Wednesday nights. It is from 6pm to 8pm and is currently every other week. The goal is for the youth group to become weekly in the near future!
Do you have any other ministries?
We are not ministry-heavy at The Garden. Our goal is to make disciples and we believe that primarily happens through the preaching of God’s Word on Sunday morning and the gathering of the church in smaller Community Groups. These are the two “ministries” that we try to get everyone involved in! We also have some Men’s & Women’s gatherings from time to time, but those are not currently regularly scheduled.
