Our Story

Pastor Randy grew up in the Chicagoland area and was saved by God’s grace at a young age.  He studied business and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management in 2003.  The next year, he married the love of his life.  Keri, a native Texan, brought her new city-slicking husband to New Braunfels in 2005, where they have since settled and are raising three children, Mason, Bailey, and Charley.

Randy & Keri have always been involved in the local church and have used their giftings to serve in whatever capacities the Lord has brought them to.  In 2015, Randy was ordained as a lay pastor and was subsequently called to lead his congregation through 18 months as their Interim Lead Pastor.

Randy describes himself as a case study in “the heart of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.”  Pastoral ministry was not in any of the plans, visions, or goals that Randy set for himself in college.  But the Lord has given him a deep affection for His people, gifted him in preaching & shepherding, and called him into church planting.

Having a deep conviction for the church to be able to give 50% of their income away, Randy is thankful to work bi-vocationally, as a Project Manager for a rain gutter company.  Keri is the school nurse for New Braunfels Christian Academy.  And, in their free time, they are usually tag-teaming between baseball, softball, cheer, soccer, and volleyball!
